Preiļi region is located on the Eastern side of Latvia, in Latgale. Preiļi is located 206 km away from Riga. Regional center - Preiļi, which is also Latgale geographical center. Region is bordered with Jēkabpils, Daugavpils, Krāslava, Rēzekne, Madona regions.
